1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Blink ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Blink provides an ephemeral file sharing service that lets you share files through secure links that automatically self-destruct after a timer you choose (1 to 10 minutes, 5 minutes by default). The Service is available through our website (capped at 5MB per share) and Android application (up to 100MB per share). Files are encrypted on your device before upload, so we cannot read your content.

3. User Responsibilities

By using Blink, you agree to:

  • Only share content you have the right to share
  • Not share illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Not use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Not attempt to circumvent any security measures
  • Not use automated tools to access the Service
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

4. Prohibited Content

You may not share content that:

  • Is illegal or promotes illegal activities
  • Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
  • Depicts violence or promotes terrorism
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Contains malware or malicious code
  • Violates another person's privacy rights
  • Is discriminatory, hateful, or harassing

We reserve the right to remove any content and block access for users who violate these terms.

5. Usage Limits

The Service imposes the following limits:

  • Up to 100MB of files per share in the Android app (the web version is capped at 5MB)
  • Self-destruct timers from 1 to 10 minutes (5 minutes by default)
  • A daily transfer quota (100MB, resets each day) on the Android app. On supported app versions this quota is enforced server-side using an anonymous device identifier so clearing app data cannot reset remaining MB. Older app versions may still use an on-device cache only.
  • Optional rewarded ads to add extra quota, up to a maximum of 200MB per day
  • Rate limiting to prevent abuse

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you share. By sharing content, you grant Blink a limited, temporary license to store and transmit it for the sole purpose of providing the Service.

The Blink name, logo, and all related branding are the property of Darkmintis and may not be used without permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Content will be successfully deleted when the timer expires (1 to 10 minutes, 5 minutes by default)
  • The Service will meet your requirements
  • Any data transmitted will be secure

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLINK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Blink and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
